Saeron is difficult to spot when he is hiding amidst the deep green leaves of his favourite venerable old oak tree or when he strolls through the whispering and swaying grasses along the stream. He is definitely a forest creature and mostly green from head to toe.
His interesting multi layered hat comprises two crocheted layers, one golden brown polished cotton yarn and the other green/black/grey wool yarn. It is topped with a hand dyed paper rose. A green rhinestone is set in the front.
Around his neck, Saeron wears a multigreen-bronze seed bead necklace with a pair of bronze coloured acorns* for a pendant. His wispy. spiky hair was made using his Golden Retriever friend Meg's reddish golden hair.
His hand felted cloak is a coat of many greens. His slender body is made of lime green wool melton with wood. Saeron's robe is locally sourced, naturally coloured grey Welsh sheep's fleece.
Saeron carries a large hand painted and antiqued wooden box laden with treasure.
It contains a sizeable dried lichen, an antique gold leaf**, a heart shaped semi precious moss agate*** stone, a hand dyed paper rose, a small empty vial for collecting (?), a Faerie book and some olive green satin vines studded with green rhinestones on the ends.
Hanging from the vines you will find a tiny woven basket containing a piece of copper**** ore nestled in a cloud of sheep's fleece.
*Acorns symbolize good health, fertility, prosperity, potential and strength. they embody immortality and celebrate life.
**Leaves can mean happiness, growth and rebirth.
