"I hope you can remember that the mountain has your back. You cannot find a steadier friend than the rocky, craggy, snow covered peaks. They have been here since the dawn of time and will continue on long after we've passed from this earth.
Take some comfort in the knowing that their strong, silent presence withstands all manner of insults. Neither storms, nor floods, nor fierce winds and cruel blizzards cause any concern to the majestic mountains.
Your lesson is right here with the inherent strengths you embody. Must I remind you? You too, are powerful beyond measure..."
"The mountains themselves call us into greater stories." Donald Miller
Rhys's long salt and pepper locks are created using naturally coloured, locally sourced Welsh sheep's fleece. Tucked in her flowing tresses, you will notice several hand painted paper roses in shades of blue and purple. Her hair frames her weathered face (hand sculpted and hand painted paper clay) and complements her hand painted resin eyes.
Rhys wears a purple/lavender/grey hand made wool felt shawl. It matches her woollen body (with wooden under structure) underneath. She wears strands of lavender seed beads for a necklace that culminates in an intricate silver heart pendant charm.
She carries a lavish bouquet of more hand painted paper roses in gorgeous shades of purple/blue/teal/lavender. It is liberally sprinkled with lavender pearls and wrapped in a cocoon of silver grey sheep's wool with silky ringlets cascading down.
Her skirt is navy organza with a hand made purple and brown wool felt flower over skirt.
