Gwilym stands in peaceful meditation with his rough hessian (burlap) robe and his treasure box around his neck. His tiny crocheted cap is fashioned in green and grey wool. His body is green/rust tweed wool melton with wood. His hair is naturally coloured welsh sheep's wool fleece, just like his underskirt.
The box he carries is hand painted and antiqued wood. The treasures within include copper ore*, a polished hematite** and a rough pyrite***semi precious stones. He also has a small silver miner's lamp and a tiny ceramic kitten nestled on the silk and wool cushioning. The ropes on the box are natural jute.
*Copper is known to stimulate energy flow and enhance your psychic abilities. It has a grounding influence.
**Hematite may absorb toxic emotions that are holding you back from your natural state of joy and vitality. It can clear away negative feelings from stress, anxiety and worry. It helps bring us back to equilibrium.
***Pyrite harnesses masculine energy, it is a symbol of abundance and prosperity. It is helpful for remembering intention and has powerful healing properties. It aids focus and grants an energetic boost.
