Silver haired Arian has come down from her mountain hideaway to do her good work. Her tresses are dyed locally sourced sheep locks. Lovely hand painted mulberry paper roses are tucked in her long spiral curls.
Arian's face is hand sculpted and painted paper clay. Her striking yellow green eyes are hand painted and poured resin. Her cloak is handmade white wool felt with a crocheted sage coloured wool net inlay.
Her body is formed using sage green wool melton, wood and locally sourced welsh wool filling. Arian's skirt is locally sourced white sheep's fleece.
Around her neck, Arian wears a silver seed bead necklace with a silver HEART and a silver BUTTERFLY pendant.
She carries a galvanized metal bucket lined with a pale green silk flower. It contains a single large HOWLITE semi precious stone and her familiar CAT, Bach (means "tiny"). Suspended from the bucket handle is a white woven vine with silvery sage pearl details and a galvanized metal milk jug.
Arian also cradles a split wood basket with a large bouquet of hand painted mulberry paper roses tucked in a base of natural lichen.
CAT: symbolizes the transcendent, the supernatural and the unseen. Cat spirit animals are fanciful, magical and independent. They can appear when you need self-confidence and reassurance.
BUTTERFLY: symbol can represent spiritual rebirth, transformation, creativity, endless potential, vibrant joy, change, ascension and an ability to experience the wonder of life.
HEART: means sensuality, passion, emotion, nurturing affection and love; especially romantic love.
HOWLITE: is a beautiful white stone that represents the spiritual qualities of stillness, tenderness, and open-mindedness.
As with all white sacred gemstones, Howlite can bring peace and clarity of mind – its black lines, however, signify that the mind is still at work, focused, not shut off.
When using this stone as a meditation aid and spiritual ally, you may feel yourself being transported to snow-packed mountain ranges, where spirit and nature are united in a blanket of white. It is a calming stone that is usually used to relieve anger, tensions, and stress.
