"Did you know that All Is Well? How can that be you might ask, with everything that is going wrong in the world? It is simple, really. You are looking at the wrong things! Instead, pay attention to everything that is going RIGHT. (There is so MUCH!) Soon you will begin to see more of the positive and uplifting things and less of the other. We are surrounded by beauty, love, peace and wellbeing if we only choose to SEE. But don't take my word for it, give it a go. It might just change your LIFE. Seriously, what have you got to lose?"
"Look at the world through rainbow coloured glasses." Unknown
Prydwen is a rainbow vision. Her deeply ruffled crocheted shawl contains the entire spectrum of brilliant colour. It is worked in all British wool yarns. Her gentle hand sculpted and painted paper clay face is framed with a riot of long blonde mohair yarn curls and a wild feather or two. Her green rhinestone earrings set off her lovely pale complexion.
Her necklace is rich blue seed beads with a brass key ring and keys*. The necklace contrasts nicely with her vivid red wool melton body with hidden wooden structure. Prydwen's skirt is natural white locally sourced wool fleece.
Prydwen holds a hand made brown, orange, red and yellow felted wool bowl carrying her treasures: a hand painted paper rose, a tiny ceramic rooster** and a single Coturnix quail egg, a symbol of new life and unhatched potential.
*Keys are often used as protective amulets or charms. They are symbols that can facilitate opening doors to secret knowledge, practices, unlocking mysteries and removing blockages to your goals in life.
**In Celtic symbolism, a rooster can symbolize a messenger to the underworld. A rooster spirit guide prompts one to have a humorous side to their character and helps them remain jovial.
