" Go ahead and stare. At least you have two eyes to look out of. I see enough with my one. Enough to ward off any wayward evil that might be sniffing around. My "third eye" will catch anything else! Ha!"

"Watch out for falling rocks..."

Glynis may not be beautiful but she's unforgettable with her giant beehive hairdo and single painted resin eye peering out of her etched and weathered hand sculpted paper clay face. Her impressive hairdo is made of locally sourced piles of natural coloured silver sheep's wool. It features a light blue hand made wool felt cap, a giant lavender silk flower, fragments of white silk fabric and it is festooned with baby blue and white paper roses, lashings of black lace, black satin ribbon and black and white feathers in profusion.

Her silver hoop and heart earrings harmonize with the silver heart pendant on her matte grey seed bead necklace. Her body is constructed of grey wool melton and wood.

Glynis wears a crocheted shawl in shades of dark and light grey, pink/red and baby blue. Her skirt is locally sourced natural grey sheep fleece.

She is carrying a hand painted and antiqued wooden box containing an assortment of treasures: White and baby blue paper roses, several miniatures books, a silver pine cone* charm and a black and white bantam rooster.**

*Pine cones can symbolize human enlightenment, fertility, third eye, eternal life and spiritual illumination. They are often used in Celtic magic protection circles.

**In Celtic symbolism, rooster can symbolize a messenger to the underworld. a white rooster can symbolize success and power. A rooster spirit guide prompts one to have a humorous side to their character and helps them remain jovial.
