Gwragedd Annwn HEALING

(deilen=leaf)+(gwen=white, blessed)=Deilwen

"You alright? I have brought some things with me today that I hope you will find useful. Let's sit down with a cuppa and we can go over it together..."

"I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning." J.B. Priestley

Deilwen exudes kindness from her craggy hand painted paper clay features and sparkling blue eyes hand painted and layered with clear resin. Grandmother Crone always knows best, right?

Her long white tresses are made with locally sourced natural white welsh sheep fleece and her skirt is made from the same in natural grey. Deilwen wears a crocheted blue wool beret garnished with hand painted paper roses.

Around her neck, she wears a grey/brown matte seed bead necklace with a silver leaf* pendant. Silver leaves form her earrings. Her shawl is handmade wool felt in scrumptious shades of blue and grey.

Deilwen carries a hand painted, antiqued wooden box containing an opulent bouquet of hand painted blue paper roses with striking black and white feathers.**

In her arms you will also find a handmade wool felt nest with a small hen*** and a big meticulously detailed magical herbal reference book.

*Leaves symbolize happiness, growth and rebirth.

**Black on a feather means strong protection and mystical wisdom. White symbolizes someone watching over you- angels and protection, peace and purity.

***A hen implies knowledge, curiosity and courage. Be sharp! Happiness and blessings are coming your way. Can mean fertility, birth, children and sexuality. It is time for internal evaluation. Scratch through the surface to see what lies beneath.

[Dated and signed by artist on a small wooden disk located on her back.]
